Do you think it's quiet enough for indoor use in an apartment building?

1. Is the KICKR Snap fully supported by the Tacx Films software? How about the basic training Tacx software, does it support it?
2. I am reading online issues with the Vortex flywheel assembly being noisy. From what people are saying, up until a couple weeks ago people where posting on forums stating that Tacx had to mail them in a new brake unit to fix the ticking issue on low spins. It seems that there is a bad bearing issue? Is this a known issue? I just hate to get a new item and have it replaced/serviced right away.
3. My understanding is that the KICKR Snap will NOT provide cadence information on Zwift. Is this true? Is it Zwift only or other software as well? -
Received my Snap yesterday, power reads very low compared to my Inpower ! No amount of spins downs fix it. My offset was 0 ticks. Used Android and IOS just in case. Any ideas please....thanks Paul

Do you have to perform the spindown before use every time?
-
What version of firmware do you have installed?
-

Does the Kickr make tha much noise? Wow man..thanks for let me know before buying it !!! Saved me $700 firm.

Gosh, so on the fence with this trainer. I can't quite justify $1k +, but looking at the Wahoo PM numbers, they're off by 8-10 watts or so. I can't get a handle whether this deviation is important enough to pass on this. Many people are disappointed with the accuracy of this trainer. For what it's worth I don't currently have a PM on my bike. Your thoughts on this are greatly appreciated because $700 is still a lot of dough for a trainer

how does your bar tape stay on...?
-
Those spacers!!!

At 8:50ish, you do the sprint in ERG mode. The kickr stays at roughly 300 watts, but the other devises go above 400 watts. Can you better explain what is going on here? Because even if the kickr is regulating the flywheel, shouldn't the other power meters react to that as well and show roughly around 300? If they are accurately measuring the power output, then all should be the same, right?
-
"Thanks for showing " I would think the power output is not the same as my stages power crank as you would be working much harder to produce the power you were showing they must have done some maths on it to take into account you are on a fixed bike and have no forward movement etc ""I am thinking of getting one but would have to buy something to setup sessions on do you know if it works with samsung tabs such as A7 9""?

Can you adjust the resistance of the kicker snap? I bought one a month ago but I can't seem to adjust the resistance with the new wahoo fitness app.

Where can I buy a garmin male mount for the iphone mount --- Thanks
-
wtf is that stack height ?
-
detailed as usual ray...how does the noise level compare to a vortex smart?
-
Hey Ray. The Garmin 520 has been out for a couple months. Is Wahoo still planning to support Ant+ Fe-C and do they have a timeline?
-
I really want one of these trainers but WOW that high-pitched squeal would drive my family crazy! Guess I will be sticking to the CT for awhile longer. Too bad.

I have always used rollers for winter training. I have always been a bit unnerved with how much movement or stress there is in bike frames attached to stationary trainers although folks say it's no more than the stress put on the frame on the road? How much wear & tear is there on a back wheel or tire over the course of the winter? Thanks! Strongly considering the Snap. :)
