Trek Bicycle (trekbikes.com) teamed up with Helen's Cycles (helenscycles.com) in Santa Monica to put on a demo ride for road and mountain bikers on Feb 9th, 2014. I joined a shop-led mountain bike ride and rode a 2014 Trek Remedy 9.8 27.5/650B: http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/mountain/technical_trail/remedy/remedy_9_8_27/# The group ride started right next to the fire station on Mulholland Dr between Elvido Dr and Park Lane Cr. We climbed Mulholland Dr to the old Nike missile radar station at San Vicente. We then headed about 1.7 miles down W Mandeville Fire Rd, using some of the fire road and some of the singletrack along each side before heading back the same way. The total ride was 7.2 miles, 1,080 ft elevation gain, 1:20 total time. This video is shot on a GoPro Hero3+ Black mounted to a generic chest harness. @helenscycles @TrekBikes

I cant wait :) im getting a nice high quality good TREK bicycle, bike. Mountain bike. I always had mountainbikes, for all around driving and cruising around, trips. in the city or cross country or on sand road trails etc... It's the best <3

try riding in a higher gear so you are not wasting energy on uphill!!!
my perfect setting is gear 6 and cog 1

Try shifting you wouldn't be peddaling so much. Just some helpful advice from a fellow mtb rider.

Awesome video man! Just bought my first MTB, a Trek XC 7. I am a beginner and i cant wait to break in my seat bones and do some more riding. I would love to take some MTB Classes, if they have them anywhere near me. Your right, it is a good thing to get on a bike.
