Hi Joey, I just bought 2016 Trek Madone 9.9 couple months ago but I haven't had a chance to ride it because I had to be on a trip right after I bought it. Yesterday, I noticed that the bike could not shift gears so I tried to charge it with the supplied charger SM-BCR2 but the LEDs on the charger did not light up. I checked the output voltage of the charger I got 5.82VDC so I believe that either the battery is dead or it has loose connections. I tried to contact the store which I bought the bike from but I haven't heard from them because it is out of state.
Would you please give me some light about the location of the battery and how I can take the battery out? Your help is truly appreciated. -
Thanks for the video. Is that the H1 or H2 geometry?

That's what she said...

Nice, I just started watching your channel, you sure build some nice high end bikes

Any chance of getting a disassembly up real quick for bike transit? The instructions for my madone are very vague and not helpful

at 6'6" this is one of the first bikes that looks good in a 62/64. Thanks. I currently have a 64 specialize diverge. However I fell in love with Trek's more modular tubes.

Great video insight on what this beast is like to build. My only gripe is the frame graphics and not aggressive enough.

Hi, does the kit include CatEye computer mount? Couldn't see it on you video, unless there's more bits you haven't filmed? Thanks!

The first thing I would do is clean the area in question with glass cleaner or something safe for carbon and visually inspect it. It sounds like you clamped a car rack fixture around your downtube? If so, where it was clamped is the area you want to check. Make sure visually it's not crushed in at all. Sometimes you can apply pressure with your thumb and see if the tube pushes in more than other sections of the same tube. The coin trick works also. When you tap it on the tube it should make a consistent clacking sound. A thud sound in the area of question would be bad. Hope that helps.

hey joey - quick question. I used a car roof top holder (don't know the exact english term) for transporting my bikes to the cote d'azur. It works like a bike stand, you turn a wheel to tighten the arms that hold the frame at the down tube. because its carbon I was very careful but I want to make sure my frame is still okay.. I had some cracking noises going out of the saddle but its very likely some dirt in the BB, but I'm looking for some tips on how to check if a frame is still good/not damaged. Any tips? There is the sound test with a coin ..
