So, with the power of hindsight it has been proven that the drcv forks were rubbish and for 2016 trek have even dumped drcv from the rear.

Scraped my arm pretty bad flying carelessly down the rocks near the end of the course, that's what probably happens when you have little experience with those rocks. I tell you what it's intense at some parts
-
I remember 69 degree head angles
-
No, you don't look excited...
-
@Rippling what is name of the song/track in backgroung?

You have great climbing skills, remedy is nice bike, but real pricy for specs they offer.Nice trail btw.

Hey Nigel, just letting you know that you do an excellent job on reviewing mountain bikes and that you have really helped me out. I am only 14 years old and I am just getting to love cycling( mountain riding in particular). As I am not very experienced in what is the right buy, your video's have helped me slot. As I am not legally liable for a paid job, I can only afford a cheaper, more beginner bike. Just thanking you for your great work. Keep it up! Harry

Hey Nigel,

Man..lower your saddle..
-
I hope I'm charging as hard as you at "almost 52". Props!

Thanks, I think I could do a better job, would start with a lot more bike parks!

Thanks Sparx, appreciate your feedback and we do take the reviews seriously. Wait until we unleash the 2013 Remedy and Slash review, we have put these bikes through some serious action in very unforgiving terrain, stay tuned for later in January....awesome!

for people wondering about the difference between the Remedy and Fuel Ex, i have been riding a Fuel Ex 5 for 3 years and it has performed wonderfully on most all terrain. A high end Fuel Ex is similar to the Remedy but a little less beefy. A Fuel Ex would handle this trail just fine but probably couldnt be pushed as hard as the Remedy. If you are a more aggressive rider who wants to push the limits get a Remedy. if you are a little less so go for a Fuel

Thank you so much Nigel for giving us a proper review on a very proper trail where the Remedy seems to be right at home. You are riding this bike like it should be ridden on a very appropriate trail. Ive seen too many videos of people riding bikes like the Remedy on flat featureless terrain and expect to give a solid review. THANKS BUDDY GO TREK

How would the Top Fuel respond on this exact same ride? What compromises and/or limitations would be inherent with the Top Fuel on this exact same ride? Would the Top Fuel be a better choice than the Remedy if flat trail surfaces were more commonly encountered in my rides? Thanks!
