I ride with the pedal in the middle of my feet?😕

thank you someof those principles apply to riding horses, when used to ride I had theproblem of leaning forward which increases the liklihood of falling if a horse stumbles or goes over rough terrain, if you sit back over your hips keep the feet underneath you like your straddling you aer more balanced and yea dont want to forget get those heels down, when going into a turn you must stay upright as well whena horse is doing tight turns (like barrel racing) so these principles you mentioned I understand. maybe I will be able to try them once I get to bike riding again when the weather warms up (i am a fair weather rider newbie) I wouldlike to do some easy trail riding too, learn how to negotiate those roots and rocks and uneven ground too.

I keep loosing grip on my feet/pedals when going down a steep downhill with roots/rocks? Any comments on how to improve that?

What kind of bike are you riding in the video?

having difficulty getting the back end up high enough during a bunny hop!

Somehow I got these things correct on my own, just by trial of error approach probably.

I accidentally got a 27.5 instead of a 29er. What are the advantages of 27 over 29?

Hello,I watched one about saddle height when riding then when just watched this one you have your saddle really low?
-
When I see you guys jumping over obsticles, I think I will now improve my fron wheel lifting b/c of what you guys said. "put weight to the back and don't just pull up with your arms". But now I see you guys lift the back wheel as well. Is that because you guys are using clip-in pedals, or can you guys lift your back wheel even with a cheap retail store mountain bike? IE, something from Walmart. I still don't see how I can bring up the back wheel.
