ThorFire BL02 Bike Light Gear Review

Click here to purchase http://goo.gl/ksLEu8 http://www.trailandmountain.com I have tested a few bike lights on my channel and they all have ups and downs. The #Thorfire BL02 is a really nice light that has several light modes from low, medium, high and strobe. The light on its highest setting is anywhere from 1240-1400 lumens but keep in mind that the battery will not last for a full 2 hours at this setting. I found the medium to be best all around setting for trail riding at night. The low I would not use at all on the trail because its just not bright enough. I would however use the low setting and strobe settings commuting around town. All in all for $60 its a great deal and you also get a pretty sweet rear light and if you use my link you will also get an 8800 mAh battery bank for extended ride times.

Seems like an OK light. Too expensive for what it is though. I'd chuck the battery pack and buy a better one as it has no waterproofing at all. Actual light itself seems very good in quality and brightness though.

got a question please for the light, does it matter what way you put your light on your bike like if i put it up and not on the side like you did? will it change the brightness of the light ?
-
Could not stand a light with a battery pack on the side, hard enough to fit computer, camera and light as it is, my current light has a built in USB rechargeable battery and it lasts around 17 hours on some med setting, max lumen is around 2 hours at 2400 lumen, but rarely use that since it is to bright unless there is next to no chance you meet someone.
Nice review any way :) -

Thanks for the review. One question: When you put the light on medium and low strength, the video makes it look like it has a strobe effect. Is that just the video or does it really strobe?

Can I use the bike light connected directly to a power bank (Anker 10000mah) for smartphone?
