Not to be a negative Nancy, but that Tour Divide map is not the course. It looks similar but never enters Utah or Arizona. It follows the Divide through starting in Canada, Montana, Wyoming, across the Basin, along the Rockies of Colorado, then finishes up in New Mexico. Sweet ride, starting my tour this coming Sunday :)

I ride with Bluez 2, bone conductive headphones, good compromise, leaves ears free to hear cars and other stuff.

if I ride with earbuds on the road I don't use in-canal earbuds. I use the 'retro' apple style earphones that just sit inside the ear so that there's still sound leakage but you can still hear the road noises
