Note: Brake fluid makes a fine paint stripper if left in contact for any length of time. Luckily it can be neutralized with water so if your worried just rinse the bike down afterwards.

It seems like a step is missing, squeezing out the old oil so that I can replace it entirely. Flushing the system. And why would I need to bleed if it wasn't flushing time?

For Guide RSC: I suppose the only question I have is this (at 4:08) "squeezing the lever ten times" —there is no way I'm getting that deep of a pull on the lever with the contact dialed back all the way and the block in place between the calipers. In fact, it's really tight with little return (about 1/2" at most). @SRAM TECH what do you think of this...normal? Thanks.

Good vid; worked for me

superior info vid, alot of bad vids out there on bleeding guide`s

Can you bleed them with Avid bleed kit?

Anyone know why Sram recommends that we set the reach at 75 to 80mm and what impact that has on the bleed? I'm trying to tune the lever feel and wondering if changing the reach during a bleed is another knob that I can turn. Thanks!

Thanks SRAM!

So you don't now recommend the tedious process of de-gassing the DOT fluid before bleeding?
