Specialized S-Works Turbo Levo FSR 6Fattie Video Review
Fahrräder, Tests, online, Rezensionen, Bewertungen
http://electricbikereview.com/specialized/s-works-turbo-levo-fsr-6fattie/ The Specialized S-Works Turbo Levo FSR 6Fattie is the highest level full suspension e-mountain bike from Specialized, purpose built frame incorporates battery and motor seamlessly. Premium suspension from RockShox Pike RCT3 and Fox Float with Autosag, 11 speed SRAM XX1 drivetrain, Command Post seat post dropper and oversized SRAM Guide RS Carbon hydraulic disc brakes front and rear. Extremely expensive, limited control interface (but you can use a mobile device via Bluetooth and ANT+ for more options), no shift sensing can lead to loud destructive gear changes when the motor is engaged.

It just looks like a mountain bike. I know people say that when they have the nice built in battery but that bike seriously looks good.

I like that no useless display that will break at the first crash and the bike looks much cleaner without it. A big minus for me is the missing walk assist which is on other systems. I wouldn't need it to many times but it would be good to know it's there.
(I live in Europe where the regulations are making more sense than in US and pedelecs can have walk assist up to 6km/h it will not change their classification.) -
Hey EBR, thank you for all your reviews. Specialized had a local demo day, and I gotta admit, loved this bike. But now please do a comparison, and bang for the buck. This is stupid money, (I paid $7500 for my adventure touring motorcycle and it has 7000 moving parts and an engine). Please, do a video where you offer your opinion on best mountain e-bike. By the way, I also tried some fat bikes at the demo, but the wheels on this bike offer some great compromise in my opinion. (No snow available....)

Looks like Santa Teresa Park....

Stop waving your hand in front of the camera. Dizzy blonds gesture with their hands when they speak, not men.

The rear brake is smaller because its lighter and cheaper. Which makes perfect sense since 70-90% of your stopping power is in the front wheel!!

I've been primarily a Specialized customer for all of my bikes. I ended up purchasing the Turbo Levo HT Comp Fattie. I'm not a very active off-roader but I can say I absolutely love the bike. The shop I purchased the bike from ended up purchasing 2 full suspension models of the Levo for its rental fleet. After test riding both the full suspension and my hard tail versions, I can say that I feel that the full suspension version isn't much better in terms of feel and shock absorption. Strictly my opinion.
I did have an issue with my cable harness and that was promptly taken cared of by Specialized through the local bike shop. I did however "shattered" my smallest cog by accidentally gunning it while on a road from a full stop. Being the noob that I was... I got to the bike shop to ask why my rear cassette was wobbling. They asked me... this is a 10 speed bike? I nodded and they told me that they counted only 9. LOL. I suppose any cassette would likely have issues with the full power of my legs and the motor driving into the cassette but I must say... I was both disappointed and... feeling... super powered :)
3.5 weeks since its arrival, I am having a blast with the bike. -
20 MPH top speed , really wow that is useless for me. I know I reach upwards of 45mph on some downhill parts of the cross country race courses. Even with the electric power, 20mph would leave me miles behind my riding friends.

I recently test road a Turbo Levo FSR, and was impressed. I'm too scared to operate a vehicle...probably kill myself operating a motorcycle, but the e-bike I was in love. I had it equipped with 29er wheelset, treat-it like a newborn (a gentile parent). I have since been able to climb the steepest hills in the Tug Hill region of New York, with energy to spare. What I am frantically stressed about is the future maintenance cost of the Turbo Levo. At 6' 4", and 235 pounds, the bike is responsive, powerful, and stylish.

This is expert Levo not Sworks. False advertising.
-
Is this an S-works model or expert? Looks like an expert because the S-works model is red.

Beautiful bike, just added one to my quiver.Love it.
-
if you had a choice what would you choose a Bosch drive or the Brose??
-
No handlebar assist level change is really shoddy at this price. If I'm struggling up a climb and want more assistance I don't want to take my hand off the bars.
-
Bosch to me is betamax versus VHS(rear wheel motor). Bosch needs to focus on adding a no pedal component. I rarely use mine on my Easy motion but still I bought it because of the option over a Bosh system....just comes down to options....like VHS had more options even though Beta had better picture quality.

Are you riding near Morgan Hill?
-
why is it limited to 20 mph. for 7k it should be 28 mph
-

-
This guy doesn't seem to be a mountain biker even though that bike is almost $8000.
-
This isn't mountain biking.
