Specialized S-Works 6 Shoes - Review
Fahrräder, Tests, online, Rezensionen, Bewertungen
Specialized has revamped its top-end road shoes yet again, retaining the previous version’s pared-down approach but with a more refined fit and – at least in our opinion – a more pleasing and classic aesthetic. BikeRadar’s international crew has been testing the new S-Works 6 model on two continents (on opposite sides of the equator!) and, while there are a few minor quirks, we've found them exceptionally good overall.

they might be really stiff and comfortable but they look like a shit

Man I want legs like those, time to rack up some serious distance.

The marketing worked on this dude. "Give it a couple of tries on our custom painted for you SWORKS" Can we get any honest reviews anymore?

Notice that he is reviewing the black version, good luck finding the rocket red, which Specialized cant keep in stock.

The asking price seems high when you think there is really nothing new about the way shoes are made. I guess if you can get 5 or 10 years out of the shoe then it's worth it but not if they only last one season. I just bought a new pair of Fizik R1B's and the price was the same. As you stated in your review these shoes make you feel as though you are one with the bike I know what you mean because the Fizik R1B does the same thing. Heck the Fizik R1B's even look very similar. So with that said, if my bike and my kit are all Italian why wouldn't I choose an Italian made shoe too?I just don't like the Specialized S logo on the toe of that shoe, or it should have been black at least. And that one velcro strap around the toebox never works well.

I was hesitant about spending $500 on a pair of shoes. But I did and never regretted it.

Lol when ben said Gucci, I died.

So did they improve your NCAR pr?

The Sub6 shoe has the same sole and heel cup but is £30 cheaper if anyone is interested. The laces look better too

Hi Ben, How do you like that Giant Advanced Pro 1? I'm thinking of getting it. Thanks!
-
what's so special about those shoes??
-
Agree that they are a pain to put on, but these are the most comfortable cycling shoes that I have ever had and pedalling is a breeze compared to the old Shimano's that I was using. They are quite fragile so you need to be careful with them but the fit really is spot-on and a marked improvement over the old incarnation of the S-Works shoe which was too narrow.

oh.. that Giant is so pretty!

I own a pair of these shoes as well as the previous model and do not care for this newer model in the slightest. Reviewer was spot on about how difficult the shoes are to get on. The shoes also don't seem to be very durable. I would almost qualify these as a one, possibly two, year throw a away shoe. I really feel like Specialized missed the mark with these shoes. Would not recommend them to other riders. Lots better, less expensive options on the market.

Need that bikeradar jersey

Was there an aero 1/2 cover to wear with this shoe. I believe Specialized demo'd that in their wind tunnel video. I thought like it was an interesting addition to the shoe
-
Fizik already did this with the R3B? And for much cheaper, in my opinion specialised are miles behind in shoes. Open to discussing it
-
Does anyone know whether other brands have a system similar to Specialized's body geometry, specifically the angled sole, and which brands might that be then?
-
Imma go buy the shimano shoe, kthanxbai.
-
heres my question why are you wearing specialized shoes on a giant bike?
