Shame about the shitty Avid brakes!

Well stated. After watching pretty much every Youtube video available on the 26 v 29 debate and exchanging many e-mails with owners of both, I am convinced that anyone who is truly serious about expanding their mtn bike riding on a diverse range of trails needs both a 26 and a 29. They're not that overly expensive where you cannot budget for both. Otherwise, buy the one that matches most of your riding, and accept the compromises it presents when riding on certain types of trails.

this music is lame ...

Seems obvious too me.. 29ers=smoother ride, better up hills, better grip on higher speed stuff. 26ers have more nimble handling, (more possible) better acceleration, all around more agile. (comes with being lighter and lower center of gravity. I went with a 29er, gt karakoram 2.0. Love it!!

What did you guys think about the Carve? I am thinking about getting one, but I am not sure yet partially due to a lack of reviews.

dom who dislike the video :D

@CRDT Thanks, glad you liked the video. And you're right we had an absolute blast testing the 29ers. Plus we managed to find a great little trail on Cannock Chase too!

@roywhiteo5 As Matt says, it is essentially down to personal preference. A lot of the guys on the video there are die hard 26 inch Mountain Bike fans, but having had a go on the Camber and Epic 29ers we were all quite shocked at just how well they performed even on some tight sections. It's also worth noting that they are so fast and fast means fun! If you do have any questions feel free to contact us at the Birmingham Concept Store and we'll do our best to answer any questions. Thanks

These guys look like they're having a blast! Nice ending to a nice video. :)

@roywhiteo5 its really down to preference. i would find out more about the bikes and definitely take both 26 and 29 bikes for test rides to determine which you like better. I personally own a 26er but am in the market for a 29er. the 29ers ride a bit better over obstacles but lack the acceleration and agility of 26ers. both are viable options and should be looked at with equal appreciation. if you can't decide, try looking for a 27.5 bike. it has many of the strong suits of both types of bikes.

im thinking about getting a camber but i didnt know till tonight that it comes in 26 and 29. which do you suggest is better?
