Flow Mountain Bike are conducting a long-term test on the new Shimano XTR Di2 drivetrain, which we've fitted to a Pivot Mach 4 Carbon. It's really cool and easy to shift but i think you should feel the change when it shifts the front derailleur because if you don't realize the front shifting when chain jumps between the chainrings, you may be injured bacause of pushing the pedal hard while shifting. It may be happen especially while you are racing. I think it is perfectly useful for 1x11.

My CREAM DREAM bike. Chris King r45 disc rear hub will 11 speed Ultegra 11-28 cassette. Ultegra DI2 rear derailleur with XTR rear trigger and display. XTR DI2 front derailleur with XTR 985 30-44 gear chain rings. 11 speed XTR chain with XTR DI2 front trigger shifter and display. Cannondale F29 frame with XLR lefty fork. Thomson 27.2 hidden dropper post. Michelin Wild racer tires.

It makes sound exactly as old AF lenses on camera...so lets wait few years to make nice and quite as USM motor in Canon lenses :D
