Shimano m530 SPD pedals

These are shimano pd-m530 SPD pedals. Bought for £22 from chainreaction cycles. They are a trail pedal and come in black and white. They are my first SPD pedal, so I've nothing to compare them to, but they seem very good especially for the money. The cleats came with the pedals and are on my scott breeze SPD trainers.

I think if you want to use flat trainers/shoes and spd compatible shoes you should check out the shimano M324 pedals or something similar. They are flat on one side and spd compatible on the other. Again I hope that helps, Dan

No the shoes you use have to be spd compatible, that way the cleats can be attached to the bottom of the shoe and then connect/clip in to the shoe. Hope that helps.
