There are many reason's not to buy a bike from Walmart, I will show several videos explaining why you should go to your Local Bike Shop and pay a little more for quality, or go on Craigslist and get a quality used bike.

I can fix that

I was at a big box store recently, and saw a single speed bike labeled as a 'racing' bicycle with 700c wheels and the drop handlebars installed backwards.
I pointed this out to an employee, and then saw her show the bike to a manager as she was walking it back to the store room. He didn't think the bike was assembled improperly.
And my kids wonder why I won't buy them the 'cool' bikes that they see in big box stores. -
avoid kickstands?i'll throw my $600 bike in the trash

Bruh. Youre talking about a walmart bike. The ONLY thing wrong with that bike is the fact that the front break wouldnt work, and that can be fixed in 20 seconds.
NOBODY is planning on buying this bike and taking it to Whistler. Kids are buying this bike to ride around the neighborhood, on rails-to-trails trail systems, and around college campuses.
Don't piss on a bike because it's cheap. There NEEDS to be cheap bikes.
I'd rather a college kid have a Huffy and a couple of boxes of cereal, some chicken, and a few other things rather than a Trek and Ramen. -
this kind of "bike", is marketed to off road wannabes. people who like the look of an off road mtb but don't actually want to go anywhere other than the corner store.

Walmart bikes can be tuned easily
-
If ur a serious biker than buy a $900 mountain bike

-
you can fix any of this
-
Heres a tip, if your gonna buy a mountain bike, don't go to Walmart

-
I had a bmx bike for 5 years the 6th year I decided make it a parts bike but someday I'll might make it a better bike

-

-
Everthing you named can be fixed and the kickstand can be removed.. Be blessed
-
Just assemble the bike yourself. It's not hard if you know how.

Are you going to ride it

None of those were issues. I will later add the ones that are.
1. That weld job will not break (I've powered my front wheel with a 52cc chainsaw), its fine, your body will break into powder before that part will (Its probably MIG welded, its not as pretty as TIG)
2. The breaks take all of 20 seconds to tighten, allen wrench on the caliper, pull cable to take slack out, tighten bolt
3. Those disk breaks SUCK! The back breaks are perfectly good to lock the wheels, but the front ones can't even dream of it.
4. The kickstand is basicly impossible to accidentally kick down. Its super far back, there is no way you can hit it unless you fall off the bike. On other motorized bikes jumping off-road (up to 30 mph), I have kicked the stands down, but usually it just hits the ground and bounces back up.
Actual faults: Suspension squeaks like crazy, no Walmart bike has the shifter adjusted properly, Shimano cheap shifters are "cheap" (and I mean that in every way), the seat is pitiful, the tires aren't that grippy, the front suspension likes to bind and won't work great, the bike weighs over 40 pounds! And the suspension likes to make you flip easy. Walmart also doesn't lube anything apparently, and the paint fades like crazy.
Those are the real faults, yes I own one, yes I still think its good enough for the price, yes it still has a chainsaw on it, yes it will do burnouts on the front tire, and yes that is somehow legal here without a tag/insurance (I don't know about the burnouts, but its not super impressive so I don't think they care).
its not terrible, but you do need to adjust everything before you ride it, as with any Walmart bike. Also tighten the spokes, they never seem to do that. -
i found the part if a bike has a kickstand pretty much avoid them because the thing is i bought a bike for roughly 1000 euros and it had a kickstand so it is bad? Lol

the person making this video should look at himself in the mirror and find faults with his own unhealthy obese fighting to catch his breath while he talks.....all the bikes need is minor adjustments....but his body needs 5-10 years in the gym
