Do you use the origional chain or a brand new one

I really enjoy your videos, Andy--the restorations and the historical observations. And that was surely one of the first appearances of an aero water bottle? And the tilt of the original saddle--it always amazes me how people put up with that sort of thing as a properly positioned saddle is like Rule One for me. And after you showed us the rusty spots on the chain stays, I was curious to see how you cleaned them up. Thanks again, Andy, and keep beautifying the neighborhood with all these cool bikes.

I actually know Andy from a friend called Frayer and Tom

Was the Quasar sold in the UK only? Never seen one in the US...

Hola disculpa hay mucha diferencia una horquilla de freno 28 a una 27 ?
-
I've never seen that kind of damage on even cheap rim before. Gorgeous bike though.

Hi Andy!
I really enjoy watching your videos.
I got a Bianchi Rekord 901 (1989), it has shimano sport Lx groupset. I want to restore it during winter
Is it worth keeping or just sell it and try to find a bike with campagnolo groupset? -
I had one of these from new, the rear hub had a weird early type of cassette called a helicomatic, I think, , the frame went on for years, it eventually broke at the drive side rear drop out, but the guy I sold it to welded it up and carried on using it.

cool bike,i have from the same time a Panasonic dx 5000 with shimano biospace 600 triple color,1988

Hi Andy, wich tools do you use for romving the cranck and bottom bracket? Are they all the same for each older bike? Where do you buy them? Thanks, Gauthier Descheemaecker from Belgium.
-
Andy, what do you do with bikes after restoration ? Are they for sale? Regards richard

Hi Andy, recent subscriber, loving the channel, so much so that you have inspired me to build my first Fixed wheel... That being said, I have found a 531 Raleigh frame that I've fallen in love with, unfortunately it's a 126 rear and my wheels are 130, would it be possible to bend the rear ends to accommodate?
Regards... Paul -
Neat looking handlebars and aero brakes. But isn't the bars a bit narrow for a big guy like you?
-
Great job, Andy! Could you help? How do I find a world champion badge for my Lemond?
-
