RAAM : TEAM INDIA - VISION FOR TRIBALS (Marathi)

Dr Mahendra Mahajan and Dr Hitendra Mahajan, brothers and endurance cyclist are participating in one of the most prestigious and toughest bicycle race in the world called RAAM ( Race Across America) in June 2015. RAAM is a 4860 km (3000 miles), transcontinental race crossing the North America continent from Oceanside, California, West coast to Annapolis, Maryland, East coast. They have enrolled as "TEAM INDIA : VISION FOR TRIBALS". They will be raising charity for Kalpataru foundation an NGO working for healthcare of tribals in Maharashtra & Gujarat. For every 100 km they race in RAAM, Kalpataru foundation will perform 5 cataract surgeries and 1 corneal transplant free of cost for tribals. Altogether 240 cataract surgeries and 48 corneal transplant would be done as the doctors cross the finish line of RAAM.
