Your daily RAAM Reports were quite lacking. They would have been much better if you had still shots of all the riders and teams taken before the race, and then you reported on the rivalries and competitions within EACH CATEGORY each day. These rivalries and competitions could have been somewhat easily garnered from studying the Leaderboard. Use the still shots to liven up the daily reports. Have prefab video clips of each course terrain that you can mix into your daily reports.
Since you failed to study the Leaderboard to fuel your reports, the videos you created didn't amount to much of a daily report at all. Your biggest failure in your "reporting" was never mentioning that T418 in the 4-Persons-Mixed <50 lost one of their riders in a crash (broke his collarbone) early in the race, but still went on to finish the race setting a new RAAM record for their category. Broke the record by nearly a whole MPH average with only three riders for a big portion of the race. And they would have come in 6th place in the comparable mens category.
Live video clips each day are fine, but by focusing on live video of a small proportion of the category competitions each day to the exclusion of full and complete reporting of the race really put a damper on the overall professionalism of this race. Oh well, at least there was an up-to-date Leaderboard to glean the important facts from on a day to day basis during the race.
