Thank you SSSSOOOOO much. Had to attach to my new diamondback dual sport comp bike, and yes it's my first. My point is I tried for freaking HOURS to attach the rear derailleur and wheel properlly , and you're video was the ONLY ONE that mentioned the locating pin! Damn this would of saved me hours and a scratch. Thanks a bunch

you don't have to take the chain off to remove the derailleur. all you have to do is take out the tension wheel (the bottom wheel on the derailleur) and you'll be able to remove the derailleur from the bike without doing anything to the chain
