Please excuse me if someone has already asked this, why is the stem upside down? Did it come like that?

Great bike! I just did a review of the 2013 Giant Revel 1 on my channel, and so far I am really happy with the bike and I do a lot of really hard riding with it.
-
have a revel 4,much better than walmart but will never bother to take it on trail cause the fork is shit.
-
weak breaks...but a nice bike for the money
-
Is this better than the specialized hardrock? Cant decide between the 2. Like the look of the giants better
-
I just checked this out at the store. Seemed pretty light. It has an aluminum frame so it's pretty agile for a mountain bike. Really enjoyed it. Wouldn't mind at all to spend the $500 on this great bike

Name giant, but made from the country almost no body know
-
Is giant revel 4 good?
-
hi, i just bought a 2012 revel 1 exactly the same but a small. how do you like it? im a beginner btw,,,
-
It weighs less than 30 lbs that's for sure

I just got the Revel 1 like an hour ago. I upgraded from a 2004 Trek 4300. I Way better for you money than the Hardrock in my opinion. I was also considering the Hardrock Disc. I went with the Revel because it was $20 cheaper. It comes with a 100mm travel fork and the Harkrock only 80mm. The Revel has Sram x4 and the Hardrock only had Sram x3. Get the Revel.

Hi there, the under seat storage bag was part of a maintenance package combo from Giant. You can purchase them at your local Giants dealer if one is near you. It comes with a hand pump and tools as well for around 30ish maybe 40 ish dollars if I remembered correctly. I don't know much about the hardrock so won't be able to assist you in that regards but given the brand Specialized I'm sure it's a great product. Only recommendation is to try as many as possible to find that perfect bike ;)

Where did you get that little fanny pack under your seat at how much was that?? and I cant decide if i want to purchase this bike or the Specialized hardrock they seem like very similiar your opinion? thx good vid

@karanUltimate the truth: you dont need change front derailleur because you have triple crankset in your bike ok, also you dont need to change crankset (always crankset its front), do not exist backward or if you like less weight; then change it. For speed change update you need change cassette, shifters, rear derailleur and chain, others thing are to save weight and improve riding like BB sistem and rear transmision
-
@cbrewer79 The bike is approximately 31-33 lbs.
-
Hey, have you weigh'd yours to know how much it weighs? Thanks
-
@alignednut Thankyou so much for your reply.I am a city rider.so the Revel 2 will probably do the job for me right ? :) i'll save some money here getting the accessories for the Revel 2.
-
@karanUltimate In regards to upgrading to a 24 speed...I'm not sure how much you are willing to spend because you would need to change Shifters..both derailleurs, front crankset, chain, and possibly something else as well. You could possibly upgrade by changing the freewheel but you may come across with clearance issues. Revel 1 and 2 is a great bike for what it is, but personally I'm saving my money for a better mountain bike to serve my future needs.
