Great video... I just entered the opening round for 2107. Should be fun... only been back on a MTB bike for 2 months now after a 20 year break... possibly see you out there

How could you ride a full face you'd be gassed no?
-

-
props to you men...its all about getting out there and Ride!!

At least you tried bro! =]

More speed and thus momentum will benefit you through the some of those rocky sections. Just un-weight the front wheel. Practice looking ahead and riding skinnies to stay on your line better. Great job!

Hey don't know if your still answering comments on this but, (with the risk of sounding mean), how come you were going so slow at certain sections? Was the sand pretty thick and you had a lack of grip or just confidence?
-
Well if you had fun I guess it's the only thing that really matters right ? Other way, funny video, I enjoyed it.

Hello I was wondering what this race is called because I was interested in it, and where it is at?
-
Nice look at the sport. I have the same bike. Mine is still pretty stock, and I haven't had any problems with it. I am not normally a Trek fan, but have been very impressed with the bike since I got it.
-
So this is a coincidence I am watching this. I am going to buy that exact bike today and I want to train for enduro races! Have you had any problem with that bike?
-
LMBo, this was some funny footage. I've never been in a race, you were probably just a little nervous too. I've been riding MTB for a few years now and in my experience there are two general reasons for crashes. 1) going too fast. Going faster than your abilities. 2) going too slow. I've learned that my bike is way more capable than I am and if I just hold on and look ahead and keep rolling, the bike can handle it. I just have to trust it more. Anybody share the same experience?

Wow my 80 year old granny is faster than you!!!!!!!
