Trail Guide: http://bk-xc.com/slickrock My bike: http://bit.ly/bk-bronson I had a great time riding Slickrock in Moab with Seth from Seth's Bike Hacks, Alexander from The Singletrack Sampler and our gracious host and guide Randall. Slickrock is an all-time classic and always worth riding! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Riding Gear --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gloves: http://amzn.to/2dlB71x Shoes: http://amzn.to/2cXasqm Pedals: http://amzn.to/2cSkv2k Pack: http://amzn.to/1UnvVHN Front tire: http://amzn.to/2ee02VA Rear tire: http://amzn.to/2dJWIOM --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camera Gear --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My video gear: http://bit.ly/bkxcgear My GoPro settings: http://bit.ly/bk-gopro --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Socialize --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Instagram: https://instagram.com/kennedyish_ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bkxcmtb Twitter: https://twitter.com/kennedyish Strava: https://www.strava.com/athletes/166021

very nice Video
But i want to say one think you Got an enduro bike your aloud to get a bit of track -
im going to moab this spring, would it be really helpful to get a dropper post, and if not, should I put my seat all the way up or all the way down?

I went to slick rock once on my friend's bike. But what I didn't know is that the rear brake was garbage and so I went over the handle bars twice and hit my knee so bad that it was bruised for three days and I had to walk the last 5 miles back.

If you like the Wolf Tooth / ESI Chunky try the Lizard Skins North Shore Lock-ons for better durability and no lost bar end plugs! I run the Chunky on my SS but the North Shores on the Bronson.

Twilight zone @ 3:24

Looks like an amazing ride. Love the fact that Randall is rocking a pretty basic Camber from 4 or 5 years ago. Further proof that it's more about the rider than the bike.

I understand your fat paw grips are non locking, has that ever given you problems? My current stock grips are the weird ergon ones and they slip around a ton, Thinkin about upgrading for less slip and more importantly, less blisters.

Like how they mark out the trails, you guys had some fun for sure

That brings back a lot of memories! haven't ridden that since about '96 on a stiff-ass Cannondale with a Judy. Bombing the Portal Trail on that old hardtail is what got me interested in DH. Now I'm all grown up and need to get back there on the Capra! Thanks for posting the inspiration.

Great Trail !! I appreciate the clearness of the video and hearing just the sound of the trail and the bike without music. Nice ride !!

it is always fun going to slick rock and seeing all the boy scout groups trying to do this ride on their WallMart bikes. haha.

After many many years I still remember 4:02 acutely. The guy sandpapering his hide was me back then. I quickly found that little shoulder you turned out on for a sec; and then I sort of settled in on how to ride slickrock and was good on everything after that.

By the way, maybe you already know this by now but if you don't the reason it's called slick Rock is because back when cow boys and horse were a thing if the horses had horse shoes on they would slip around on the sand stone especially the hills and horses would get trapped out there.
