do you recommend a 34t chainring on 26er, casette 11-36??

Mines on order as I type. I'm dumping the 2x10 on my 2013 Carve Pro 29er.
Tired of the constant drops and bad shifting. Doing the Sram GX crank
that comes with a 32 ring. I hardly ever use the extreme ends of my
gears (11-36), so I think I'll be just fine. Shaved some weight and
clean the look up a bit. -
I'm going 32T with 11-36 on my Trek hardtail a little concerned to have enough climbing gears. I'll lose a little top end but not as worried by that.

my bike, is 26"
-race face 36t
-shimano xt 10 speed 11-42 -

Would've been lighter and stronger to use a direct mount chainring..

Nice video...and music too. It says "Virra" at the end...who is that?

Have you had any problems with steep uphills running 34t?
