PINION P1.18 gearbox is a transmission for bikes that is constructed as a spur gear with two partial transmissions axially parallel, one with three gears, and the other with six gears. The multiplication of three six relations gives 18 real speed gradually spaced and ideal ergonomically, with a 11,5% jump between gears, achieving an overall gear ratio of 636%.

Is this the final evolution of g-boxx? I would prefer Rohloff's internal gear system because it uses planetary gears and is lighter. I hope Rohloff would make similar internal BB gear systems soon.

Very old idea, probably 100 years old - just made better. Suspect will cost few very good used bykes or more. Somebody will sale kidney for this, good to have two...

Please sell this gearbox units individually. I know I could adapt one of this units to a foldable Strida bike. Also I could try to adapt it to a Mobiky foldable bicycle. The result would be awesome.
