Followed the guide today...worked a treat, especially the Park Tool chain cleaner.

I question the pulley wheel bearing contamination. I run Saint m820 rear D'z and I can tell you, only 1 is a bearing and the other is a bushing. both need heavy service to function properly. HEAVY SERVICE like every 3 months. Pull off the pulleys, totally clean and regrease.
I also now strip my chains and run fox gold fork oil on my chains. the anti friction modifies are the highest out there. There is nothing better. plus its anti stick properties are excellent. -
Simple question here- I'm about to pick up my first work stand for washes and tire changes. If the stand is going to get some soap and water on it from washes, how can I make sure it does not rust and stays in good condition?

Calvin has anyone told you that you look like vinny from the movie Atlantis.

I see what you did there at the end

Doesn't dish soap contain salt? It's just something I've heard.

Thank you for washing! LOL

Great video. Is it best to lube the chain immediately, or better to wait a day until dry? Or chase the water away with say WD40, then lube?

what about the grass you are washing this bike over with soap, solvent and degreaser?
-
Is the solvent that is dripping off of the cassette and chain ring into the ground environmentally safe?
