Heyy I've been to that bike store

This was pointless. I'm just as oblivious before watching this video as after. Show me how the clip works. Or common mistakes. Or how to get out of the clip.

Hate my Shimano 105 clipless pedals. The balance design is just wrong. I clip my right foot first. But for some reason, the left pedal is always upside down, so I always have to look down to use my toe to turn it upright so I can clip in. Would be really nice if they design it so that the pedal's natural position is upright (i.e. - make the bottom side of the pedal a lot heavier than the top so that it naturally sits upright).

Title is incorrect. "Clipless" refers to the absence of toe clips. Prior to the existence of clipless pedals, a set of toe clips and straps were attached to pedals to secure your feet/shoes to the pedals.

Title is correct, good video

waste of time, I was looking for help with clip pedals, the kind you strap into. this video is titled incorrectly, and wastes time waiting through the commercial to find an incorrect video. I am amazed you have not changed the title yet - now 4 years later and numerous complaints.

This is like the time I learnt to drive before know where the brake is, how to I detach my feet?

First off, real clip pedals were designed decades before the clipless pedals. We agree on that, yes? They were in fact called pedals with clips. Why? Because they used a clip or a clasp with straps to grasp onto the rider's feet. Clipless pedals do not have a clip or a clasp. It is a locking mechanism. Therefore it is rightfully so to called it clipless since they do not use clips.

First off, clip means "to hold in a tight grip, to clasp, fasten, or secure with a clip." These pedals do just that so therefore they are "clip pedals". Anyone who uses the term "clip-less" to describe these pedals is just following along with collective stupidity. Most people don't even know the English language well enough to differentiate between "your" and "you're" and shouldn't even be commenting here. It's a clip-pedal that "clips" in. What is so hard about that?

This actually helped me a lot thank you :) haha

what bike is that please?

What type of pedals should i get toe clips, bmx straps, or clipless
-
umm no?

He might be using a faulty set of pedals then because clipless pedals are much more safer than pedals with toe clips. During a crash, your pedals with release under the slightest inward or outward twist of the foot. If you watch road cycling crashes (easily found here on youtube), you will usually see the bike separate from the rider.

umm wrong?
