The older bicycle saddle are the only one I found to be comfortable, everytime I ride my grandfather bicycle I always feel comfortable and never felt tired or pain in the butt. I gave up riding my mountain bike for being painful to ride, despite trying 2 very different saddles. Is this this unusual?

I found titanium rails to be the best. They absorb more shock and are stronger than steel, especially solid ti rails. In my experience crashing bikes and seeing saddles of others who have crashed bikes, steel rails bend far more easily. Avoid manganese or vanadium rails as they are weak.
