How to Remove & Install Bicycle Pedals (Everything a DIY home mechanic needs to know)
Fahrräder, Tests, online, Rezensionen, Bewertungen
This video covers everything the do it yourself (DIY) home mechanic needs to know about bicycle pedal removal and installation. As stated in the video, here's a link to an explantion of how "Mechanical Precession" utilizes the left and right threading of pedals to keep them tight: http: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Precession_(mechanical) For some reason YouTube isn't allowing the whole link to be posted. You may have to add the final " ) " after mechanical to get the link to work. Please feel free to share this video on facebook and other websites with folks who might find it helpful in learning to work on their own bikes. Excellent video, I tell all of my customers always if they want to change the pedals, this because a lot of people have no clue about left hand threaded and right hand threaded, I tell them always the same, left or right pedal doesn't matter, loosen always towards the back/back wheel of the bike and tighten always towards the front/front wheel of the bike. Never fails....!!

Thank you for this video. My 6 year old was given a bike from a mini storage garage sale. In September, she learned to ride a bike. The left pedal came apart. I was struggling to change the pedals out. Your instruction of wrench directions saved the day. After school today, my daughter was riding her bike. Thanks again. CM N. California USA
