2. I bought a BMX not that long ago. It came with the older school brake calipers with the U shaped spring and they don't work worth a crap. Is there a way to meke them stronger? I know people don't use these brakes much anymore but i've had those brakes in the past that would lock up no problem. Just wondering if it's something that i'm missing, thanks.

8. Someone mentioned before about filling the legs and bottom part with sand. I wonder how that would work? And is it ridged or wobbly?

17. do quick release adapters fit on any rear rack? do i need to have 2 holes on my rack to fit adapter or it can be screwed with only 1?

20. my bike has pre drilled holes, but the nut at the end of the bolt doesn't clear the gears by a hair could I just file away at the nut?
