Hi Gmbn I slammed my droperpost and now it's not coming up and got locked. What to do with this?

Anyone 2017?

don't use grease use the grippy compound stuff that stops it ceasing because according to sram grease can allow the post to move when you tighten the seat clamp to the low torq it needs to not dammage the post.

Hi, I like my seatpost as low to the frame as possible, I had to cut down my pole to get the desired hight. Im looking to get a seatpost dropper for uphill sections but wondering if it will still be as low to the frame when fully dropped down.

I have a question, I'm a short rider (5'6") on a 29er, so I'm a bit confused on the length of post I need. From what I under stand you need to measure your post length where you normally ride then substrate 50mm. I ride at 125mm so that would put me into a 75mm dropper. If this is correct is there still a great benefit to using it? Also what would be a good unit since this is not a common size? Thanks for any input you may have.
