Should I change the tire to slicks when I use the bike trainer? I'm scared that will destroy the original tire of mountain bike

Great video! I've been trying to figure out why I have issues with this for a while. when I stand forward like that I feel like I will fall over the front of the bike, could that be an adjustment issue or is that just a feeling I need to get used to?

I've been trained to use body weight pedaling to become more efficient while standing. I think the theory is using weight & not muscles, is more efficient. I had one of best races using body weight pedaling on the hills. Now I am confused. Any thoughts will be welcomed...

The position you say "most people" get into when riding out of the saddle looks really unnatural. Can't say I've ever seen anyone let alone most people ride like that.

Thank you for this video! It is very helpful: )

Big THANK to you sir! Good advice! Good help for me! Wishing you all the Very BEST! /C

isn't using your body weight the whole point of standing up?

James, I really enjoy your topics, thanks for taking the time to analyze these things. What do you think about dropper seatposts? I was about to order one to allow me to get the seat into a higher position for pedalling since I normally ride with it relatively low on single track. Sounds like maybe that just encourages seated pedalling. Any opinion?

Thanks from Brazil for all the tips! They are really useful!

So basically you tense your whole body? I have a hard time differentiating your techinques, but I can see that you are not bobbing at all. I'm doing just like you showed, using my body weight and it is using ALL of the front suspension. Maybe it's just practice...

Thanks man this is really very helpful. Been riding a hardtail for years so I never had the bobbing problem as much. However last summer I finally upgraded to a full suspension bike and I noticed a lot of bobbing. I was thinking of buying a fork lockout remote but after seeing this video I realized what I was doing wrong. Again thanks for the video I appreciate it
