Do these chain guides work with a bike that was 2X but is now 1X - but still using the 2X crank arm? Is there an issue with the Top guide lining up with the ring?
-
@GLOBAL MOUNTAIN BIKE NETWORK hi how do I adjust the spacing on a mrp upper chain guide as it's rubbing the side of the chain. doesn't look to me that it's possible to install washers.

I've got that exact set up and can't seem to stop the friction and rubbing in the high gears when climbing. it's so bad I want to take it off. the lower guide is the main problem. what is the solution? Do I need to remove a washer?

Hi there. I ride a Sram X01 with no chain guide, but I was thinking of adding one to diminish the chain shaking and heating the frame when I'm riding downhill. Does this i13 chain guide decreases the life of the chain? I wonder about it because of the tension that increases due to the lower guide. Did you change the size of the chain when you added the guide?

Are you in a bike shop

I noticed that on the e*thirteen LG1 there are 2 positions for the lower guide. I know this chain guide is compatible for chainrings of 28-38 teeth, I have a 32t chainring, would I put my lower guide in the upper or lower position??? +Global Mountain Bike Network +Neil Donoghue +Scott Laughland

I hate when your casually riding with baggy pants and your pant leg tips on the front
-
I always thought a lock would add more security, who would have known a simple chain guide would stop those pesky robbers, huh.
-
When doing a drop I hit my front sprocket on the edge and on the way back my chain kept clicking in <2,8. And anything above that it will slip of!
Any help would be great -
more reasons why the internal belt drive is way overdue

This was much better than your video on "How to assemble a bike". In this one you said "For this job". Making it individual, and not general.
You just gained some respect back! -
Is that your own GT bike? What type of riding is that set up for? I would guess DH. Love GMBN by the way. Say hello to the rest of the guys.
-
Didn't you remove that plastic cassette/spoke protector thing and reflectors in an earlier video?
