How to: BMX bunnyhop higher
Fahrräder, Tests, online, Rezensionen, Bewertungen
Stop commenting saying it's a J-Hop you idiots. Have you ever heard anyone say "j hop barspin" or "j hop 180"? No, because it's called a bunnyhop. In this video, I try to teach you how to hop higher. I pretty much just tell you to practise and hop over/onto shit. Lighter bikes won't help, lifting weights might help. Even so, bunnyhops are ALL technique. Once you get the feel for a bunnyhop, start practising them faster and higher.

When you bring up both the front and back tires up that's a bunny hop, a j - hop is when you lift up your front then suck up the back. Fucking retard

Right kids... Lesson starts here so listen up, we need to clear this shit up.
Originally when learning Bunnyhops, people first learned to pull both wheels as this is easier (bikes weighed much more and geometry was shit by today's standards).
Pretty soon an American I assume, figured out that bunny hopping by pulling front then back was the more effective method.
This lead to a brief period whereby people needed to distinguish between the two - at this point various terminology was created to differentiate between the two (American hop, horse hop, j-hop, bronco hop etc).
After this brief period, the front then back method (being the obviously more effective of the two) became standard.
The only time anyone would perform a two tyre hop these days that I can think of is if the hop is onto something stupidly small for your skill level, your a beginner or perhaps if you're learning barspins flat. Otherwise every agile time you hear the word "bunnyhop" assume it's the front then back method.
Go look up some pros talking on various hop trick how to's - I'll bet my life they say bunnyhop and execute it with the front then back method... And they do it for a living.
In summary - call it whatever you would like, it's fucking hopping in the air at the end of the day. Just don't expect anyone to give a shit about your "correct terminology" when every industry insider calls it a bunnyhop. Why would you even need to differentiate? Just learn the better of the two methods and call it a bunnyhop like everyone else for fucks sakes.
And everyone lived happily ever after. -
You sound like a nerd and you cant even bunny hop
