A quick and easy tutorial on how to burp hydraulic disc brakes for mountain bikes. Most people think you always need to bleed a brake (completely flush out all the brake fluid with a syringe.) However, sometimes you can get a brake working like new just by burping it! I test it out on some avids and the results are perfect! THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE A BLEED SUBSTITUTE! ONLY DO THIS AS A QUICK FIX IF YOU DONT HAVE THE PROPER BLEED TOOLS. YOU SHOULD STILL BLEED YOUR BRAKES AFTERWARDS!

Dude, u will destroy someone's brake. That's NOT how you bleed brakes.
If You dont have right informations do not put videos like this on internet.
Under cap you have ''bleed port'' and You have to use special tool/syringe to bleed it from down to up so there is no air left in caliper/hose/tank. And you have to make vacuum to remove air trapped inside DOT oil.... So much wrong things in one video.... -

Doing a how to video with a hydraulic hose in that condition...not to mention the filthy fluid. Obvious that the hose is cracked causing residue to contaminate the dot fluid. Please people take your bike to a professional technician

I use a similar method, but bleed the fluid through the caliper.
