1. Here's a thing on strava and multi use trails: here in the UK there is very few multi use trails officially, so many bikers use footpaths. On a footpath a walker has right of way. On a multi use trail people who are walking should hear you and move as it is much easier. Users must just respect one another.
   
   And regarding strava - the trails near me are mostly XC or slight 'trail' types. But you get some people hitting 60km/h on trails that most would go up to 30, it's insane and people could start getting hurt this way. Shame because it's a great tool
2. I only race by myself on one direction trails. On multi use trails I save the racing for when i'm out with a bud or two and we take turns running the trail and scouting the end.

4. bro what? $400 on a drivetrain replacement? lol what sort of components were ya running? I just purchased a brand new 10 speed XT Derailleur, RaceFace 30T chainring, SLX Cassette(reviews said XT cassette was braking a lot), XT Rear Shifter, XT Chain, some grease, and a BBB Torque Wrench for around $250 USD off ChainReaction. If I went for XT cassette it would've been like $20 more. Did you go 11 speed?
5. BBK: Only playing devil's advocate here, but how do you know the extremely fast times you're seeing AREN'T recorded when the trail is closed, or even during a sanctioned race on that specific trail? You're the one who's out there and seeing it, but I'm curious.

8. Hey BBK, what should I consider before buying a new bike?
   I'm 190 cm tall and I'm seraching for a new one (my old one is really small, like 24"). I thought about buying a 29" hardtail mountainbike but I consider myself a total noob in terms of biking so I've no idea what makes a bike a good one and which one i should get.
   
   I hope you can help me with this one :)

    Also, remembered you mentioning how you got into biking a few vids ago, do you still do competitive biking or just as a leisure activity as of late? I know you said you competed until 09, but have you been back in it at all, or not really?
    
    And take it easy on your ankle, I tore a ligament nearly 2 months ago and I was out of action for 6-8 weeks. You don't appreciate something as simple as walking until you can't do it any longer XD

17. Nice bike. The ride was fun to watch. I'm a roadie so the sharp sticks and rocks give me the willies. ;-) Though I do have an all mountain Trek Fuel that I run on fire roads when the wind is up. Good to know at least one of you fps game tubers/streamers is a real world athlete. Cheers.
