Competitive Cyclist Reviews FSA Compact Handlebars
Fahrräder, Tests, online, Rezensionen, Bewertungen
Competitive Cyclist's review of the FSA Compact Handlebars. FSA compact bars offer a wonderful alternative to more traditional ergo and shallow drop bars. They feature a short reach, and the gently sloping drops allow for full palm contact which facilitates better bike handling at any speed. very comfy natural bars

Apart from having the "Salesman" feel in this video, everything that he said makes total sense to me.

Excellent review (and salesperson!). Cheers

This dude would sell sand to fucking talibans

I ride a fixed gear and "v.2" of my bike is about to happen. So thanks for this! Although it was sort of irrelevant for me hehe, because I won't have controls.
-
These fsa compact bars have totally changed the feel of my bike. I used to never ride the drops because it just didn't feel natural or safe. Now I ride them 60% of the time.

What measure of stem use in this handlebar FSA Vero Compact..
-
Hey andy iam a newb to road bikes my shoulder to shoulder measurements conform to a 42 measurement handlebar shall i go for the 44 some of the guys say go one size larger thanks
-
I've just fitted some of their vero compact bars and must admit their a game changer , you can ride just as comfortably in the drops as on the hoods , I would say their probably the best bars you can buy for comfort , just get a size bigger than normal because their measured from the centre to centre of the flared bar ends

The pauses when you talk and drag out the words are really annoying, just sounds like you are reading

What a great review. These look like just the bars for me - I love drop handlebars but have relatively short arms.

What does a 4 degree sweep mean?
-
They look great but I have a question. Were can i get them? How much are they? Can i get them on a track bike?
-
my fsa compact wing pro is great love the top wide grip and compact drop
-
Wow, very informative and very clearly presented. Thanks – great review.

i have hydraulic discs and mtn bike type of handlebar. can i move my brakes and shifters onto this bar?

There's some bad editing or an omission in this video. At 2:02 or there abouts you mention "hopping on the bike" with the Omegas and grabbing the drops, The subject rider actually rests his hands on the hoods rather than the drops. You then cut to the "uncomfortable" wrist position with the subject on the drops of a traditional bar at 2:10. There is no juxtaposition of a view of the drop wrist position of the FSA Compact with the traditional bar.

hmm is one of those riding no handed?
