Click here http://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel4.php?query=BRP113 for more information. Also known as BUZZ RACK 'Buzz Runner SPARK' 3 bike rack no. BRP113. BuzzRunner make great bike racks that are strong, secure and innovative. These are products you can confidently rely on for your adventures. So what's the big deal with the BUZZ RACK EasyTilt? Fundamentally it's down to design, safety, quality, and ease of use. Consider the following: It's supplied almost fully assembled; minimum work is required. It's the right shape for storing in the boot when not in use. It fits to all tow balls with an easy "first time out only" adjustment system. Fitting is simple and, above all, fast; place the carrier on the tow ball and lift the lever, the ergonomically easy thing to do, with nothing to tighten or turn. The BuzzRunner EasyTilt is genuinely easy to tilt, well balanced during the tilting phase, and tilts far enough for use even on vehicles with vertical tailgates. The tilt function is accessed at the front of the carrier so it's easy to get to, unlike many other bike carriers. It sits high on the tow ball, well clear of speed bumps and other hazards such as steep ferry ramps. The wheel holders, much more robust than we've seen elsewhere, will slide in and out and will accommodate all wheelbases, even very small children's bikes if you turn the wheel holders through 180º. The wheel holders include tough and easily adjusted wheel straps which are long enough to hold the biggest rims we've found. Each bike holder has locks, and the carrier also locks to the tow ball with a strong metal in metal lock. Flick up a couple of cam levers and the carrier folds flat for easier storage. All parts are replaceable if e.g. someone forgets that a tow bar carrier is fitted and reverses into a wall - which happens! Dimensions = 93 cm wide by 78 cm deep (measured from the centre of the tow ball mount to the outside edge of the number plate holder). Weight = 19 kg. The BUZZ RACK EasyTilt comes with a 5 function 13 pin lighting system, with UK compliant fog lights, i.e. the fog light is on the right hand side / offside. A 7 to 13 adapter is also provided, for cars with 7 pin systems (if you have a 7 pin socket the reversing light and fog light will not work - the 7 pin socket isn't wired for these functions). The lights slide in for easier storage. The build quality - tube bending, welding, rust proofing, painting, component quality, is exemplary. All tools you might need are provided. It's TÜV approved to ISO standard R15264-4, a standard some way tougher than current requirements. ROAD SAFETY AND PROPER USE Please make sure you clean the surface of the towball completely before installing the rack. Check if the distance from the exhaust pipe to the bicycle tires is safe for your bicycles or the straps of the carrier. The heat of the exhaust could damage the bike or bicycle racks. If your vehicle is equipped with an automatic tailgate opening system, disable this function when using the bike carrier, and open the tailgate manually. When loading the bicycles, remove all loose parts and accessories from bicycles (toolbars, baby carriers, pumps, etc.) Always position the heaviest bike first and closet to the car. The user is responsible for periodically verifying that all hardware, straps, knobs, hubs are securely tightened for safety purposes. You might have to use extra protections to protect the bikes and the tailgate from scratches. Do not open the gate with the bikes installed on the carrier. The locks used on this rack are theft deterrent. Check before departure that the light board of the carrier is properly functioning. The bicycle rack increases the vehicle’s length, and the bicycles may increase its width and height. Be aware of this when passing through narrow or low clearance spaces and when reversing. Any loads exceeding the indicated dimensions must nevertheless respect existing regulations and be properly strapped down. 04. Drive slowly over speed bumps. Respect the speed limit, and adapt your speed to the condition of the road. If you hit a bump or a hole in the road, stop your vehicle and inspect the bikes and the carrier. If you notice anything wrong, remove the bikes and do not use the bike carrier. 07. Make sure there is a safe distance between the bikes and the ground, especially when entering a driveway. MAINTAINING YOUR BICYCLE RACK Periodically inspect the product for signs of wear, corrosion, and fatigue. Do not use the carrier with defective parts, contact the dealer to replace them before using it again. Remove the product before entering an automatic car wash. To keep your product in the best condition, it is recommended to remove the product from the car when not in use. Please be advised that this product is not designed to resist extreme weather conditions, especially seacoast air. Lubricate the bolts in order to avoid corrosion.
