Pump tracks are better than swimming pools or lawns. It's like having a trail in your backyard that you can ride and change any day. It helps you pump, corner and handle a bike well. Here is one in a tight space with 40 yards of dirt, built with a tractor.

me and some college buddies made a pump track in our backyard. didn't order any dirt ended up digging it all haha. Lowered the ground quite a bit! Landlord came two years later and let's say we didn't get our deposit back. Worth it!
