Same Goes For Suspension Forks!
-
Shocks are a scam . Buy used and rebuild.
-
of course if the steer tube diameter of the fork will fit your headset then go ahead. but just be aware that putting a fork with 120mm plus of travel on a hardtail could really effect the cornering and climbing. but if thats not a problem then go for it

cani put a freeride shox on a hard tail?pls anwser! !

Just starting out and trying to decipher shocks... How much better would a RS Silver Recon TK be over a RS Tora TK on a 29" ride? Is $150 difference in price enough to make the jump? I'm new and buying my first bike and trying to research before I buy.

Some coiled suspensions like the basic & sturdy RST T7 (ideal for hybrids and cross country) have a "preload" knob to adapt the shock absortion to one's weight. From minimum to max clockwise and viceversa. A click lets you know when it's fixed to min or max.

can u tell me if the rockshox dart 2 fork fits on a giant boulder mountainbike...? thanks
-
Yeah fork prices are kinda bullshit, a few guys at some of my LBS's told me that a decent fork would be $400 and UP... what makes it even more retarded is the fact that a fork is something you should NOT skimp on when it comes to quality. Ebay is your best friend in this case :P

the second shocks are rock shox
