    its very nice to me comfortable and its just a pure legends in the mountain..easy pedaling and does EVERYTHING....thank god ive got this bike :D

12. Interesting that the xc30's used to be considered 'bad' whilst they were bigging up sr suntour forks. Sr's are now god awful and xc30's are decent...

18. I have the Talon 3, it's a great bike but the forks are shit! I'm swapping out my forks next week for a rigid Kinesis Maxlight XLT till I can afford something half decent with low weight. recently upgraded to the following parts:
    Shimano XT M785
    SRAM X9 type 2
    SRAM 10 speed shifters
    SRAM 1050 series 10 speed cassette and chain.
    
    I want:
    Race Face Narrow Wide Chainring.
    RockShox Reba RLT Solo Air Forks.

20. This was a helpful discussion of the relative merits of several manufacturers.  There was some actual critique which was refreshing and helpful. I would have enjoyed to have had this expanded to include more bike in this range.
