Is the process the same on the brake caliper side? I have to lengthen my front brake line, and I was wondering if it was the same process on both ends.

My brake hose is broken from a crash, can I re-use the old compression washer and fitting or do I need new ones to replace the hose?

I'd like to mention that you don't have to disconnect the line to route the brakes on a Bronson frame. If you let all the air out of the shock and compress the suspension all the way, you can slip the newer elixir master cylinder (without handlebar mount) through. I've done this on both a small and medium Carbon C frame.

Cheers for the Vid. Excellent instructions. Have 3 sets of Avids and never had a problem. Just need to shorten the wife's.

Great Vid. I was really hoping you would say I wouldn't have to bleed them after! I hear so many bad things about those avid brakes but I just got a set of them to put on my fiancess Santa Cruz Juli build and I need to shorten them up
