The first Emirati professional MMA fighter Hassan Al Rumaithi getting ready for his debut in Abu Dhabi Fighting Championship! Round 1 of the Abu Dhabi Fighting Championship took place on May 14, 2010 in Abu Dhabi. The mixed martial arts (MMA) event, the first of three, featured 8 world class champions who battled each other for the grand prize, a whooping 1,000,000 Dirhams!! The event also featured the first Emirati mixed martial artist, and other up-and-coming fighters. Four fighters have moved forward to the second Round taking place later this year.
