A pregnant bike commute through Barcelona
Fahrräder, Tests, online, Rezensionen, Bewertungen
When your bike is your car, you learn to adapt your riding style to all situations: rain, luggage, kids, formal wear and pregnancy. In this video, I- now 8 months pregnant- documented my bike commute from home to the hospital. No, it wasn't to give birth- I still have 3 weeks to consider that one-, but for a bit of routine blood work. Today, I simply scoped out the best bike paths of Barcelona and the ideal city bikes. For more, go to faircompanies.com where I also have a video on transporting furniture by bike.

My wife rode basically all the way through her first pregnancy. It only got difficult when at around 8 months her belly started to push her thighs apart and she couldn't push down hard enough to climb the one steep hill on her commute. BTW I think this is the oldest video of yours that I have seen. I have enjoyed your new videos for some time now and loved this one as well.

@hunhun23 It's a nice lifestyle to be able to bike everywhere, especially in places like Barcelona where the weather is generally nice (San Francisco was like that for me as well and I didn't really mind the hills). If only I had a better place to park it I would have a baakfiets or some sort of cargo bike to tote my 2 kids around on.

When I was stationed in Germany back in the 80's I biked everywhere. I was in Ansbach in the Army.
