2014 Giant Revel 3 -- Entry Level Mountain Bike with Great Performance!

Alan from Finish Line Bicycles shows you the 2014 Giant Revel 3. The Revel 3 boasts Giant's proprietary Aluxx 6000 series aluminum in their frame with butted tubinig. Butted tubing means that the front end of each tube is twice as thick for stiffness at the weld joints. The bike has a 21 speed Shimano gearing system, 7 in back and 3 in front. With such a wide range of gears to choose from you will have no problem climbing the difficult hill or reaching top speed on a descent. This bike uses a V-brake or linear pull style brake. It doesn't take too much braking power at the lever to achieve maximum force at the rear wheel. Just one or two fingers will do the trick. The seat post, front and rear hub all come with a quick release lever, making it easier to travel with, repair flats, adjust seat height, etc. The bike does have some other basic mountain characteristics like a spring loaded front fork and semi-knobby mountain bike tires.
