There's no way on earth I could ride that bike.
It hasn't got pedals -
Just picked up this bike. So siiiiick. If anyone's curious, I got the 17.5" model. Weighs in at 28 pounds even.

The weight on the cobra is due to the spring coil front suspension instead of the air shock on the x-caliber. I also did a weight comparison at my LBS and it was quite a noticeable difference favoring the x-cal.

I bought this bike as soon it came on the market, August 2012. 29inch wheels, 19" frame (I'm 6ft) still have it to this date, still in mint condition...surprisingly! It's very light for the amount of components it has (30 gears!!! Hydraulic disc brakes!!!) great for acceleration, hills are a breeze, rolls over holes - I'm planning to get into some serious fast XC racing in my region in the next couple of months...then i'll def' know how it handles!!!

I Test rode this bike today, it's sick shock absorbing forks are incredible and the weight of it was outstandingly light for a 29 inch wheel bike i am definetly going to be considering buying this bike for XC!

Sweet bike. I felt the weight of this bike and trek cobia at bike shop. I don't know what makes the weight on the cobia but it's real heavy. X-CAL it the right bike for the price!
