i used to do AE downhill on a hardtail
-
At the least a full suspension mountain bike but the ideal bike would be a downhill
-
Doing this on a hard tail. No. I don't think so.
-
you probably could but it might snap....
-
Does anyone know if I can do this with a hardtail. I just got a stumpjumper comp aand have been doing mountain biking. But I though this was interesting
-
Some of those bikes look to big for the rider
-
Wow I can do that on a hardtail dj lol
-
go to any specialized store and get a demo 8 I they are like $1999 not that much
-
They are carrying some good speed in some sections. That is a pretty sweet local dh course. Nice work on the features
-

-
Sorry, this is cool and all, but I could do all that with my hardtail... That being said, I only have one DH trail in my area and that one looks pretty fun!
-

-

You can DH on anything. Keep in mind, you're going to want to look at what trails you're riding, and how you ride. If you're riding stuff like in the vid, then I recommend going with a FR/DH (freeride/downhill) bike, If you don't have a shuttle to the top or if you also plan on using the bike to climb hills, than I recommend an AM (all mountain) bike. If you want to do DH than I recommend something with atleast 5 in. of travel in both the front and rear suspension

There is one hard fail at 2:13

Someone asked where this was ... on the "Beacon Hill" (aka Fancher Hill) course in Spokane, WA on trails east of Beacon Hill and runs through parts of the Camp Sekani park area. Held every March - this year it's Mar 23-25, 2012. Access off Upriver Drive west of Argonne Road.
